The Role Of Cities In Global Immigration

April 6, 2023 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

“The Division of Immigrant Affairs in Jersey City warmly welcomes you to attend a symposium entitled “Cities and Global Immigration” this Thursday, April 6th from 5-8 pm in the unforgettable rooftop Observatory conference room overlooking the Statute of Liberty and Ellis Island.

We are excited to have as speakers the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the New Americans Campaign, and the New York Historical Society to discuss the role of cities as the ‘last mile’ of global immigration. A reception will serve locally sourced food, followed by the symposium discussion with, finally, a post-event at a local beer garden a few steps away from the conference space.
