NJCU Galleries presents: The Persistence of History

Does history keep you awake at night? For many artists in this exhibition, it does. New Jersey City University (NJCU) presents The Persistence of History, curated by Peter Delman. The exhibition will be on show from October 6 through November 7.

  • Opening Reception: Wednesday, October 17, 5:00 – 8:00 pm (click here to RSVP)
  • Panel Discussion with Artists: Monday, October 22, 7:00 – 8:30 pm in the Visual Arts Building Auditorium
  • Character Workshop with Gaku Tsutaja: Thursday, November 8, 12:00 – 2:00 pm

Twelve contemporary artists express their compelling perspectives on history: Lewis Colburn, Tim Daly, Christy Georg, Nina Katchadourian, Joyce Kozloff, Stacy Renee Morrison, Michael Oatman, Debra Priestly, Jaune Quick-to-See Smith, Joshua Reiman, Roger Shimomura, and Gaku Tsutaja.
