This year’s 20th Annual  Memorial Ceremony showed hundreds of people to witness the commemoration hosted by Mayor Steven Fulop who focused exclusively for the 9-11 family members and friends as we marked the passage of two decades since the day that changed our lives forever.

Our program commenced at 8:30 a.m. and the first moment of silence was observed at 8:46 a.m., followed thereafter by the 9.02 a.m. moment of silence acknowledging when each of the World Trade Center Towers were struck.

Family members and friends came forward to speak on behalf of their loved ones who died in the tragedy. The names of all 39 victims from Jersey City were read aloud.

The placing of Freedom Wreath by Mayor Fulop ends the program.
