Jersey City Ballet Theater will be performing a free concert at Enos Jones Park, Robert Clemente ball field, 237 Brunswick Street, Jersey City NJ .
Jersey City Ballet Theater is paying tribute to this great American pass time, and the first ever competitive base ball game played right here in Hudson County.
Baseball is a dance! Watch as Jersey City Ballet Theater dancers take the field with baseball historian and author Raphael Badagliacca as he narrates the history of baseball.
Jersey City Ballet Theater Company is a diverse group of professional dancers and apprentices committed to bringing high quality, affordable ballet performance to our community and beyond. Raphael Badagliacca is author of two books: Father’s Day: Encounters with Everyday Life, stories about his experience as father of three children and The Yogi Poems and Other Celebrations of Local Baseball, homage to the game played at every level – and to Yogi, one of America’s most colorful characters.
