Dinner at Van Vorst Park

Celebrate Jersey City’s dynamic food scene and enjoy a delicious three-course dinner in one of our beautiful parks. Each dinner will be created by a guest chef, and the event aims to support the Jersey City Parks Coalition in their mission to empower residents to develop, renovate, use and maintain their community parks and public spaces of Jersey City; thereby revitalizing neighborhoods and lifting communal and human spirits.

About the Chef: Colleen Christi Willett
Colleen Christi Willett is the Chef & Co-Owner of Bread & Spoon, a catering and specialty baked goods company that focuses on balanced, delicious, accessible meals for everyone. She runs Bread & Spoon with her husband, Steve.
Colleen believes cooking and eating healthfully should be fun, delicious, interesting and most importantly, shared. Sourcing, preparing and discovering the components that go into each meal allows us to be more in touch with the flavors, aromas and nuances of the foods we eat, their impact on our local economy, and on our planet. Bread & Spoon sources over 80% of its produce, meats and seafood from vendors and providers within 75 miles of Jersey City.
