CONSUMED BY CREATIVITY

Yigsy Magaly, also known as “Kat,” is a Salvadoran-American artist based in New Jersey. Her artistry is characterized by a series of paintings featuring abstract figures that represent a range of emotional states. Yigsy’s goal is to create a world where these figures, which she calls “Emotes,” exist in a realm where everything is made up of lines and different colors based on their mood. Her unique approach to painting involves using paint markers instead of traditional brushes and painting the sides of her canvases to create a 3D effect that immerses the viewer in the imaginary world she has created.
Angel Duran is a Dominican-American artist based in New Jersey. His artwork features a whimsical and playful take on food eating people, using humor to explore the theme of consumption and the relationship between humans and the food they eat. In addition to his successful artistic career, Angel is also a co-founder of BOKEH, an art collective that provides a platform for up-and-coming minority artists in the tri-state area.
The exhibition will be held on April 21st and will feature a variety of works from both Angel and Yigsy. This is an incredible opportunity to experience the innovative and thought-provoking art of these two up-and-coming artists. We invite you to join us and be “Consumed by Creativity” at this exciting exhibition.
