Christian’s Children of Faith Flag Raising
September 7 @ 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm
The City of Jersey City, Mayor Steven Fulop, the Municipal Council Members and the Office of Cultural Affairs recognizes the CHRISTIAN’S CHILDREN OF FAITH in Jersey City during the Flag Raising Ceremony on September 7, 2021 and the 43rd Annual Parade and Multicultural Festival on Saturday, September 25th, 2021 with the objective of spreading a message of peace and goodwill throughout our community.
The New Jersey Center for Empowerment and Community Development supports young people representing both our present-day potential and our greatest hopes for a good future. Many of these children are being educated with a Christian world view thereby instilling in them a sense of ethics that is grounded in faith and inspiring morality.
This year, the Children of Faith Parade And Multicultural Festival dedicates the 20th year “Remembrance of the Victims and Families of September 11th” and celebrating the triumphs of their surviving families and friends. It is fitting that the people of Jersey City recognize the importance of this meaningful Christian event. Jersey City is an oasis of cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity – a quality made possible by steadfast groups such as the ones we honor today.
