About this Event

Please join us for the First Annual Jersey City Garden Tour, organized by Canco Park Conservancy. This event will feature public and private gardens of Jersey City with tours lead by Jersey City Residents. This event is an annual fundraiser for the Canco Park Conservancy.

The GOAL: To connect people to nature and gardeners to gardens.

The details: Location details will be released on Tuesday and will be updated as we get closer to the event. Ticket holders will receive a program and map of the gardens via email on 8/9/19. Currently we have 12 gardens but expect to add more as the date gets closer. Some of the garden tour locations include Van Vorst Park, Pershing Field Gardens, Ogden’s End Garden, P.E.A.C.E. Community Garden and more.

Come meet the gardeners and tour their gardens!

The Jersey City Garden Tour is a free event with registration. Tickets are available for our CLOSING PARTY FUNDRAISER – a Sunset Reception overlooking Canco Park sponsored by SAWYER SMITH RESIDENTIAL. Party starts at 6:30pm, refreshments provided by Buy Rite and hors d’oeuvres provided by Square One Community Eatery.

Garden Tour Ticket Cost is Free and open to the public. Visit cancoparkconservancy.org for more information.

Funds raised will benefit the community in the form of future educational programming at Canco Park, specifically: our wildlife habitat restoration program to benefit birds, butterflies and bees.
