Jersey City Public School History Fair

Jersey City Public Schools will host its annual student history fair tonight at the Apple Tree House! For the first time ever, the event will take place at the historic, newly opened Apple Tree House. Legend claims that while camped in Bergen for three days, General George Washington and the Marquis de Lafayette during the American Revolution in 1780 dined in the yard “underneath an apple tree” and discussed strategy for French Naval intervention.
