Artist Statement
I create realistic paintings that express the beauty in our culture. Through a combination of traditional and digital painting methods, I capture everyday moments that have a profound impact. I paint realistic images of black people that show them comfortable in their own space.
In addition to my realistic portrayals, I also delve into the realm of vibrant and organic abstract line paintings. Hidden narratives and symbolic representations are embedded within these abstract lines. These colorful creations offer a unique perspective, showcasing the fluidity and dynamism of form and movement. Through bold and expressive strokes, I convey a sense of energy and vitality, capturing the essence of life’s rich tapestry.
