This event is sponsored by Jersey City Theater Center (JCTC) and The Jersey City Anti-Violence Coalition Movement (JCACM)

The program is designed as a series of theater workshops where students will explore social justice issues through interviews they conduct with community leaders and each other. They will develop valuable skillsets, create connectivity between diverse communities, and build unity.

The camp will accept up to 40 students ages 12-18 and begins Monday, July 13, 2020. Hours are 9am to 12pm. Currently the program is scheduled for three weeks but may extend to August 21, 2020.

Greenville synagogue Congregation Bnai Jacob—a progressive Jewish community committed to tradition and creativity, social justice and human connection—will be transformed into an outdoor theater and performance space for the whole community under the direction of Rabbi Bronwen Mullin who also serves on the board of the Jersey City Anti-Violence Coalition Movement.
